Saving energy helps save money on utility bills and protect the climate by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The California Utilities support ENERGY STAR as members of the specification development group. The FSTC in San Ramon and the FEC in Downey are EPA recognized laboratories that qualify equipment for the ENERGY STAR. The California Energy Wise team was also instrumental in the intial development of the ENERGY STAR program covering commercial foodservice equipment.
With the California Foodservice Instant Rebates Program, California Investor Owned Utility (IOU)* customers can get valuable Instant Rebates on qualifying energy-efficient equipment for their businesses.
